----- Update / Tourneys and Sits ------

Aqui vai um update das ultimas semanas de Poker.

Depois de uns runs negativos em cash comecei a jogar mais MTT e S&G, tambem alterei a forma de jogo dos MTT anteriormente jogava muito agressivo no estilo cash game, com estatisticas de alguns torneios, ex: 100 hands played, 20 hands won, hands at showdown=1, estão logo a ver a coisa, pots todos ganhos PF e no Flop ou Turn mas, que levava a ganhar muitos pots mas quase todos eles pequenos, muito trabalho para pouco rendimento, agora tenho jogado mais baseado na estratégia que uso para S&G, no inico quase só jogo grandes mãos e tento em cada pot que tenha os outro players dominados fazer traps, slow-play e tentar ganhar grandes pots, em resumo estou a trabalhar menos mas com mais qualidade.

Ultimos resultados são positivos de salientar, qualificação para 2 super-satelites para o PokerStars Caribbean Adventure mas fiz unregister e fiquei com os w$, Também de salientar a qualificação para o Round 3, ultimo satellite de acesso ao Moneymaker Millionaire $2'500'000, http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/promotions/moneymaker-millionaire/ que irei jogar em 3 Dez. com prize pool de mais 40K e os 6 primeiros qualificam-se para esse torneio e os 7,8,9 qualificam-se para o PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, por isso vamos a ver no que dá.
Também fiz mesa final do final da liga estrela do mês Outubro do www.pokerpt.com, o obectivo erá ganhar já que estava muito focado nesse torneio mas paciência cai em 3º e sempre foram $60 e como é freeroll e tudo lucro :) .
Fiz ITM e algumas Final Tables em varios torneios de pequeno buy-in na Stars e FullTilt, por isso o lucro também não foi por ai além, é só para treinar ;) .

Nos S&G jogados ultimamente estou com um bom ROI mais de 30% jogados principalmente na rede Ipoker(Titan,CD,Noble), acho que me devo dedicar mais a jogar Sits.

----- Omaha Hi/LO is beautiful -----

This week have been playing some Omaha Hi/LO PL cash games in Low stakes, I love this Game and in low stakes there are a lot of fishes compared with Hold'em, because is a game with lot of action, people like to play lots of hands thinking they can catch or the Hi pot or the Low pot and the error start here, You must play hands to Scoop the intire POT otherwise FOLD.

An example of a hands i played today(beautiful), in the link below , but i only play that hand because I'm in SB and no action Pre-Flop otherwise i fold that kind of hands, but in the flop i catched the nuts Hi draw and the nuts Low draw so lets the party begin.

----- Back from Holidays/ Live Tourney -----

After 2 months without cards :) lets start again.

In 23/24 September I played in the first official Tournament taken place in a casino in Portugal the, I Solverde Hold'emTournament in Espinho, 15 Km South of Porto.

The facilities and organization are great, better than some EPT or WPT tourneys.

With a field of 200 players they are a mix of good players and some really bad players, I see people calling raises of 10 BB with J2o(had a face card have to go!!!), and after flop call more 20 BB without catching nothing, dha!!! I see others in the 1st level trying to steal pot's with stupids bluffs with a lot of players in the pot showing strength, doh!!! And they re-raise all-in to get out of the tournament in minutes,but finally thank God the players who made Final table are all very good players, and is the proof to be successfully in live Poker you need Skills.

But about my game, it was bad, cold deck after cold deck, in near 3 hours of playing only had 3 playable hands 2 pair of 88 and an AQos, of course I play some more hands in late position and steal some blinds and little pots, but struggling all the time to survive, and it ended when have only 2200, and with blinds at 200/400 with 2 limpers I'm in 7th position and look at the card to see 88, perfect for the move and in the right time and raised all-in, and one limper called me with Kh Jd and make a runner flush of diamonds :( .

Back again to live Poker in November, 25/26 for the II Solverde Texas Hold'em tournament at Espinho.

---------- Short guideline to play S&G ----------

10-8 Players or Levels 1,2,3 10/20, 15/30, 25/50

AA,KK,QQ play super-aggressive (all-in) AK in position and aggressive.
The other pocket Pairs and, Suited-connectors and A-x suited, Limp/call limp, to catch trips str8 or flush.

7-5 Players or Levels 4,5 50/100, 75/150

Maintain previous strategy and only low pairs and low suited-connectors if have big stack.
Bet position with aggression, Premium hands early position 3BB, B,C cards middle to end 4/5/6BB Random betting, random stealing, random in up gears.

5-4 Players

Just before payouts, Here players get tigher hoping finishing in the money, When you have good position and feel weakness in players and you have tigh player table image is the best to steal blinds, if you have a big stack don´t let other players to see a cheap flop, playing Position.
Like before bet positionaggressionession, Premium hands early position 3 BB, B and C hands middle to end 4/5/6 BB, worst hands but best position, goal steal the Blinds.
Random betting, random stealing, random in up gears.

3 Players

Now is time to be aggressive the goal is the FIRST place.
Difference between 3º and 2º are small, normal payouts are:
3º = 20%, 2º = 30% but 1º = 50%.

2 Players

If you have chip lead double the Blinds every hand or try put in all-in if he is short-stacked.
If you are short-stacked go all-in with any Pair, high Suited-Connectors, A-x suited.

Aqui neste blog vou fazer o resumo frequentes das minhas actividades no mundo do jogo de cartas principalmente de Poker (Texas holdem, Omaha, 7 Stud) e Blackjack.
